Food items past their best-before date. They are not spoiled — the quality may be slightly lower, but the goods are safe and we sell them labeled and separately. The price applies to the specific batch and number of pieces.

What this means

The best-before date (“best before”) is not a use-by date. It says until when the food is guaranteed to keep its quality — taste, aroma, texture. After this date it may still be sold as long as it is safe, offered separately and clearly labeled; that is exactly what we do here.

Goods sold with a use-by date (“use by”) are never offered past that date. Every batch shows its own date and number of pieces — once it sells out, it disappears from the offer.
